L’APAC
Created in January 2010, l’APAC, l’Association Professionnelle des Artistes Conteurs (France’s professional association of Artist/Storytellers) has a present roster of more than a hundred
professional tellers, men and women.
It works for a better participation in reflexions about and the way their profession is structured. L’APAC functions nationally and equally welcomes a few French-speaking storytellers who regularly perform in France.
L’APAC is a place of fraternity, sharing and solidarity between storytellers, respecting the artistic particularity of its members.
It is also a recognized intermediary between institutions (the Ministry of Culture) and structures working in the area of storytelling and the performing arts in general.
Through its actions, l’APAC contributes to a better knowledge of the art of the storyteller and its influence as a full-fledged artistic discipline.
